advent of code day 15 part 2
Funny enough I first attempted the efficient solution for part 1, completely misunderstood the rules of the "game" and came up with the monstrosity you can see above.
After being completely stumped by part 2 (I don't think I have enough RAM to use the part 1 solution), I looked at the sub for a hint and found this Numberphile video, and finally understood the rules well enough to make the part 2 solution.
I still wasted way too much time on off-by-one errors and squeezing the input into my algorithm but at least it's fast enough

@masklayer certainly not sending pngs, they simplified the page as much as they could (and reformatted it for mobile devices when needed), and compressed all images (depending on device settings)
there was some Javascript support (probably only for stuff bound to buttons and links), and they had a limit for how long they'd let it run, obvs
this post inspired by rendering being slightly off between Firefox and Chromium
new idea for websites: the server sends the website pre-rendered as png and the browser sends events back
@revenant oh dang, those are popular dubbing actors, too, judging by their portfolios. I'm just not sure who actually commissioned that dub, I would've assumed it was done for TV but as far as I can tell it was just for the bluray/dvd release?
