@jaranta apparently iOS Safari will get web push notifications soon, which should make the experience a bit better

@jaranta yeah I've used it before, can't say it's a perfect experience but masto web is pretty alright on mobile. There's also other web frontends like https://pinafore.social that might be better (Pinafore in particular is meant to be fast and lightweight)

@jaranta an alternative would be to pin the webapp to the home screen, which is okay

@jaranta I use it on iPad OS 16, it definitely still works (though new features like edits will probably never reach it)
