Not super fond of DuckDuckGo testing a LLM trained on Wikipedia but it looks like they're at least being more careful about it https://spreadprivacy.com/duckassist-launch/
@praxis if they wanted to make sth trackable they'd make the info less visible, like the yellow dots all color printers put on every page
@praxis pretty sure these are to prevent people from reading through the paper. When I get PINs and stuff like that sent the envelope always looks like that

re: phone repair
@clarfonthey I've had a repair store open my phone for their consultation price (18€), which was pricy but worth it. That said it was my trusty LG G6 that's very repairable once you get it open and the actual parts (SIM tray, USB port) cost like 5€ total
@clayote I mean that does sound cool
@clayote good to know it had its upsides, I guess they actually hired city planners to design it
@clayote people didn't like that one because it had always-online, shipped half-broken and had a ridiculously small play area
@cinnamon indeed! imagine how nice it'd be if we could build less of them!
I love SimCity 2000, I love Cities: Skylines, but come onnnnnn it's been over 30 years since the genre started
I dream of a city building sim that actually lets me solve traffic! Let me build walkable neighborhoods! Let me build bike lanes and ban SUVs! Let me build massive underground bike parking garages! How are have city builder games still not recovered from SimCity abstracting people as cars and removing parking lots because they made the game less fun
