Here's a screenshot of a webdev server not starting because the vite command has been replaced with an unrelated program also called vite, which results in a process that has no business displaying anything complaining about a missing screen
@mxfraud silver turns black if you touch it too much, I don't think it oxidizes if you just leave it out? There's products for cleaning silver silverware (lol) or jewelry
also I think bronze was historically seen as a metal superior to copper? like, a lot of things were cast in bronze, including statues

Soso. Herr Lauterbach möchte den @bfdi entmachten; sein Vetorecht abschaffen. Und die gematik soll von 51% zu 100% Trägerschaft des Bundes überführt, also noch intransparenter werden. Per Opt-Out sollen Millionen Datensätze in die Hände dieses undemokratischen Unternehmens fallen, das nichtmal IFG Anfragen beantwortet.
Von dort sollen die Daten weitergegeben werden, insbesondere (aber nicht nur!) für die Forschung mit eindeutiger, lebenslanger Kennung an jedem Datensatz. Ich bin sprachlos.

We had another state-wide alarm drill today (sirens and everything) and the cell broadcast system actually worked this time, yay!
I think they used the "real alert / end of the world is imminent" category instead of a test alert... but good to know it works, I guess!

@cinnamon we historically have a strong worker's movement (sadly the leftist parties these days have lost their teeth and unions have gotten their teeth legislated away)
still, I should probably join a union, tech workers are starting to finally organize

@cinnamon they are in Germany unless they have a really good reason (and are prepared to defend it in court). the time employers are required to give you also can't be shorter than the time you're required to give
