@mcc woof
wait I think I misunderstood the question
Home Assistant, E-Ink
@margau I've built something, but it's not necessarily the way to go
I basically use https://github.com/sibbl/hass-lovelace-kindle-screensaver to render PNGs of a specific dashboard every 5 minutes and the pi zero connected to this screen downloads and displays them
@typhlosion @cinnamon I think you're overthinking it
@cinnamon @typhlosion I've got friends who swear by arch and it's got all the shiniest newest software and pacman is nice and fast but also it's broken my grub multiple times in the time I used it so I'm not super convinced
@cinnamon @typhlosion I'd go with something a bit less slow to update than debian if you wanna like, game and stuff, it's a pain to always have at least one-year-old software versions
@typhlosion you can have separate partitions for your system and your home folder and just reinstall if you don't like it
but also I've been using systemd distros (mostly bog standard debian) since it was a thing and I never felt like I needed anything else?

@ChocoMintPuppy I only needed four wins to get a rank which was at times quite enjoyable to do with friends, especially since we're all quite unfamiliar with every map except Dust
though at this point I'm not sure if new ranks count, maybe only regained ones?
@codl I would love that
@pup_hime worst hdmi cable ever
@girlonthenet you could also use Windows 11 or something like bluestacks to run it on a PC
or if you know Python it should be possible to hack sth together with Mastodon.py
@girlonthenet Tusky can schedule posts, but it's simply a Mastodon feature that most UIs don't expose
@pup_hime it makes more sense on a longer HDMI cable so you can plug all the things into one device on the VGA end
@pup_hime yeah
