I basically use https://github.com/sibbl/hass-lovelace-kindle-screensaver to render PNGs of a specific dashboard every 5 minutes and the pi zero connected to this screen downloads and displays them

@typhlosion you can have separate partitions for your system and your home folder and just reinstall if you don't like it

but also I've been using systemd distros (mostly bog standard debian) since it was a thing and I never felt like I needed anything else?

@very_gay_tentacles@octodon.social right now I only use Typora because honestly I don't need that much control over formatting (or I export as html and write my own styles), but Typora actually uses pandoc to export pdf
