@irenes this website says it was the first spaceflight computer to use CMOS https://www.allaboutcircuits.com/news/voyager-mission-anniversary-computers-command-data-attitude-control/
@ConnyDuck I've had the developer setting on ever since it started existing! I think this is the first third-party app I noticed it in though
@agatha it was purely a decision for myself :) I think it's a really interesting discussion though
have a popoto pic
@agatha honestly I don't really care that much it was just annoying me that it didn't fit
@agatha yeah true
@agatha I used to be Jalyn Ririvachi (last name from the auto-generator) but after careful deliberation I changed it to "Zezelyn" which kind of mashes up male and female conventions (iirc)
@agatha I actually changed my last name to be somewhat lore-accurate
@eclairwolf oh it rules, it's just a generation old and ASUS doesn't have a great track record with software updates
@eclairwolf there'll be a 8a soon
idk, I never had an issue with palm rejection. The A models have the largest bezels though and a case with a lip might also help
@eclairwolf if you want a decent Android phone with no fuss your best bet is a Pixel
@eclairwolf (the last "small" Android phone was the Asus Zenfone 10)
@eclairwolf already failing on the first one, sorry
I know I can do the whole download - abord - drop files - continue play but it shouldn't be necessary?
What would you consider as the most recognizable bitmap fonts in tech history?
I’m imagining stuff like:
- the arcade/Atari font
- Chicago (Mac, then iPod)
- VCR/video equipment fonts
- Minecraft font
- IBM PC fonts (MDA, VGA, stuff like that)
- perhaps System font from Windows 3.x
- Commodore 64, just because of the sheer popularity of the machine
What am I missing?
