@Natanox this just needs to beat a very reliable but dog slow Ultimaker 2 Pro to be a successful conversion
@Natanox it's a hackspace printer, it came like that 😄 it's a very nice toolhead, real easy to work on
also I may have a very silly upgrade in store (pending replacing the default animations)
I'm looking forward to calibrating it and seeing how fast it can go now :>
since most parts in this can take 24 V I wanted to upgrade it from the stock i3 Mega's 12 V
gonna have to order new fans for the toolhead (I thought the board on there could run 12V fans but it's a different one) and do a lot of cable management, mount the new power supply on more than one screw (why is there no standard for PSU screw holes?) but it used to be unable to hold the hotend temperature when the part cooling was on and now it easily can :)
it doesn't look like it (yet) and it needs some fans replaced but I actually managed to fix and upgrade this printer
