what app are you using? Adobe Scan has been the best for me but the one built into Google Drive is pretty nice too
@elilla you know you can just scan documents with your phone, right? I find it very convenient and it looks indistinguishable from a "proper" scan to me

@mcc you can get plugins for kde or gnome's software "store" applications so they'll handle them
also you can just install flathub packages from the command line, you don't have to manually download them
@mcc iirc it hooks into apt to run the update when apt does, same as fwupd, but I currently can't find any documentation on that so I might be making that up
