@North I suspect abrading the material while soldering helps, not sure how fast aluminium corrodes but a few seconds might already make a difference
@North it's just using the tip as abrasive, isn't it?
@eramdam it's just an accent thing I think
til winning a 100x splatfest battle means you get to take group shots on the float
thanks for playing @bonzoesc !
@la hell yea I knew putting the torch in the space was a good idea
the kinda jank trick if you don't wanna reuse the cranks (I was never planning to) seems to be to put the bolts back in but loosely and try and ride the bike around a bit. I don't know how much riding I can do on this since the gears are pretty far gone but it's worth a shot I suppose
@la welcome to the "this is stuck and I'm really frustrated" club
@tootapp I suppose it assumes the list is already surrounded by extra space? what a weird setup
@tootapp I'll send a strongly worded letter to Tim Apple, thank you!
@tootapp two more that are maybe more serious:
the settings headlines butt up right against the sidebar
at window sizes that don't show the sidebar exiting the settings is impossible
@unascribed ah no the one I printed doesn't have USB-C. there seems to be a usb-c shaped hole at the bottom of the A-Hole but it's functionally unusable bc nothing I have reaches it
@unascribed I printed some variation of this design that does USB A, C and both popular SD card sizes https://www.printables.com/model/176838-gridfinity-sd-card-holder-microsd-usb-a-and-c#preview.file.2j8fj
@Canageek just click the lil shield icon and turn it off for the page, it's not like there's any tracking happening on a mastodon instance
