@masklayer 75$ for a gadget that will be e-waste in two years, maybe sooner
@masklayer they mention that but say "you need a second hand to press it"

@vxo Opera Mini also relied on server-side compression and mobileification and it worked quite well (and saved me a lot of money!)
Today we're conducting our first retro gaming evening at @cccac. In the long run we want to repeat it once a month, hopefully on a Saturday.
As a hook/icebreaker we've prepared a multiplayer setup between two Playstation 1, using the PlayStation Link Cable (SCPH-1040)
Start is at 20:00, open end
(yes I should be better at spacing out my holidays, but it happens to work out well this year)
@jollysea Pebbles aren't powerful enough to actually record you continuously, at least the original ones had to stream audio to the phone to do anything with it, and iirc they're adding on-device speech-to-text with the new app. But yeah it's pretty common, my Pixel watch can do phone calls. I've used it like twice, it's mostly for telling Google Assistant to turn off my lights
re: Webdesign, iconsets, work (unprofessional)
