finally, more info and a release date (February) for Pokémon Home, looks like it's going to have a free and a paid tier https://home.pokemon.com/en-us/?cid=&utm_source=tw&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=pokemonhome&utm_term=january28
it's an impressive game, sure, but a cell phone isn't the greatest way to play a 3D first-person RPG, especially one that just barely manages to run it
then again, the original N-Gage is that much wider and taller, a widescreen QD could totally be still smaller than that… it might even be possible to just turn the screen 90deg…
this obvs wouldn't just work like that (it'd have to have more resolution and it's already struggling to push all those pixels) and it'd be a good bit too big but I wanted to see what it looked like
for context: the QD was basically a lite version of the original N-Gage with some flaws fixed. It didn't have a mp3 decoder, USB, radio or line-in recording, but it was smaller, looked a lot better and most importantly had a hot-swap MMC slot. On the original model you had to turn off the device every time you wanted to swap games, which was… not a good idea. Also they moved the speaker and microphone to the front so you didn't have to side-talk anymore
