there was a version with red gradients that looked a lot better anyways but really considering the symbolism this is one of the weaker ones (unless you're counting that one Apple icon, but I heard they have a lot of money for lawyers)

oh neat the annoying blur effect mastodon does while an image is loading shows transparent areas as checkerboard but they're transparent after loading completely???
