Arrival's a very good movie, btw, it manages to tell a kinda simple story (like the original is a short story, it's not that complex) but still doesn't feel like it's wasting your time, it just takes its time and lets the great visual design and the amazing soundtrack sink in
why the heck does my Arrival Blu-Ray include a heavily compressed track with test images, to the point where the short pan through nature at the end of it are just a mess of artifacts? (cw eye contact for one of the images)
gosh I keep forgetting USB thumbsticks in my PS2 and thinking I lost them

If you consider yourself a rational person, in particular a rationalist, I highly recommend you learn formal logic.
If you've never learned it formally, you need to take a hard look at how you think logic works, and how it actually does. Knowing lists of logical fallacies is not enough. You must be able to distinguish between valid and sound arguments. You must understand that a fallacy in an argument does not prove the conclusion false. You must understand that debates are not how truth is determined.
