copying the files over to WSL worked. I just spawn a remote vscode session from WSL (just type code, it's really that simple) and then launch the dev container from there

If you're upgrading to Mastodon 4.3.x, it no longer supports Postgres 9, and it's tempting to export your PSQL 9 database and import it directly into a more modern version like 12 or 16; this is supposed to auto-convert it to the new format.
Please don't. Step upward by one version at a time. The direct upgrade trashes Mastodon's performance somehow.

mitxela has built an #LED matrix earring from 52 0201(!) LEDs (i.e. 0.65 × 0.35 mm footprint) on a 9 mm diameter circular PCB. Or rather, two PCBs soldered back-to-back because this density of components basically requires a four-layer PCB with blind and/or buried vias, which would've been very expensive. The video also features a "very cheap" (3600 USD) pick & place machine. I expect these to show up in makerspaces soon.
