@Jacel I wasn't able to get into it at first until my partner spoiled the first season ending (that I'd already guessed) which instantly got me interested! It feels like I had to invest an entire season into world building and now we're finally getting to the fun part. (I'm at S2E1 still!)
@Felthry I think "ambivalent" is a good word to describe me today - down because work, and partner troubles; up because new crush is mutually crushing on me pretty hard too and I'm really into her too and we've had a great time talking and interacting AND I get a date with someone I don't get to see often right now tonight!

If anyone has ever told you that programming is more essential than a second language, they are lying to you. They want more programmers to pay the rest less. The world doesn't need more unhappy programmers who hate their jobs and their work suffers due to poor morale.
If you don't want to be a programmer, you don't have to be.
You don't have to learn to code.
Do what you like (but be mindful of job supply/demand... we sadly live in a capitalist world and that's not going to change soon).
