I never ever get tired of people telling me that my work made them feel things, and hearing good feedback encourages me to keep making games outside of work:

Sometimes it feels like I must have been a failure as an indie dev, like I wasted the last three years because I couldn't hack it

But then I think about how I literally made dozens and dozens of interactive fiction and #dynfic stories, and they're actually really good.

Like, I'm no Porpentine or anything, but I made some beautiful art and a lot of people loved it.

@Firstaide This sounds like depression to me. Very similar to my experience. You don't have to sleep all day or cry a lot to have depression.

Miitomo is stupid but I am also stupid so it seems like a pretty good fit.
