@cinnamon oh yeah, that one's a trick

the diamond difficult digit-destinations

@monorail here you can have this card from my spaced learning flashcards

@cinnamon oh! if this is linux, you can watch journalctl -f, and if it's windows, you can check the event viewer for "system events" to get a hint about what it might be

if that doesn't give you anything useful and you're cool with installing something, this might be able to help if it's usb: nirsoft.net/utils/usb_log_view

@cinnamon i should really get a routine like this

i always find that i play at basically half-capacity if i feel someone is watching me, and i self-condition myself whenever my brain decides it's an important time to play well

@cinnamon i find that the faster i draw individual lines, the more confident they look--and if i combine that with a high stabilizer and a loooot of undo, i can get somewhere eventually

maybe that'll eventually translate to being able to do that without, though

@cinnamon oh same

i still can't draw circles reliably, even though everything i draw tends to be made entirely out of them :ms_mild_panic:

i sometimes do this thing where i give birds extra space when i'm walking so they don't need to fly and waste energy

but thinking about it, i guess it probably looks more like i'm just scared of birds

@codl is that the version that absolutely insists you use -p for ports?

gradle sure has a lot of documentation that assumes i already know all the conventions of the things it's introducing me to

@noiob gosh, i ended up learning some of the new positions for keys before i knew that shortcut was a thing

i eventually just started setting my computers to use US keyboard settings because it didn't install any secondary layouts for languages i didn't know

@FreyaManibrandr gosh, i feel you

starting projects is basically a hobby of mine, but doing anything beyond that? hah, oof

art is nicer because it's so much easier to finish the things you start compared to a big 'ol gamedev project
