@coriander ive always thought the council was just the most obvious manifestation of a more fundamental problem with the ethos of the jedi. emotions are fine to have and express as long as you're not consumed by them; striking that balance between the light and dark sides of the force should have been the goal, not focusing on one at the expense of the other
this is what i *thought* episode 8 and the new trilogy generally were gonna explore, but then palpatine returned for no reason

in english, allah specifically refers to the islamic conception of god, but in arabic, if i understand this right, it's just a word meaning "god"
