something i've noticed about online spaces is patreon can be a hot second type thing where someone has a really good interaction or two with someone and decides to support them. then after a while the affection fades bc you're not really friends and stops contributing
there's a lot of that. i know i'm guilty of it tbh

It's well past time, I think, to allow users to customise their colour scheme here on Mastodon.
For accessibility, it is a must.
Some people need dark backgrounds. I need light ones. My eyes are old. My glasses are strong. It is far easier for me to read dark text on a light background than the converse.
I don't believe my preferences are right for everyone. But they are right for me.
Let's let people choose how they see Mastodon (without plug-ins).

@photopuck The Stylish extension does this pretty decently, as far as being a browser plugin goes. Was a big thing early on in Mastodon.
