I don't think there's a single member of our species who is not made functionally delusional, to at least some degree, by the very wiring of our brains and all the shortcuts programmed into them. There are people whose delusions are well-adapted to their cultures; there are no people whatsoever who perceive reality with reasonable and genuine accuracy.

Honestly, most of it is exactly what y'all have been telling me, ordinary move stress and not dealing well with all the ambiguity. That flood here in Mid-City really freaked me out, and I had a bunch of necessities still hiding in boxes, and... yeah. Just redlined for a bit and felt Ms. Panic Tiger, who is bitey and stupid, rising to the surface again.
