(Also, if it's any further consolation, this has been happening to me since I was 15. :) It's just unusually bad this week. And it's reminding me that I'm getting FUCKIN OLD and can only have so much time left...)

Been having heart flutters all day long and been unusually tired. I strongly suspect it's nothing major, probably my vagus nerve doing something funky because my allergies have been bad all day.

But cardiac issues have been a big anxiety trigger for me, ever since my dad's 2nd heart attack took him out when I was age 12. So I'm a little fretful. Just... if I keel over, it's been fun and I wish you all joyful lives, okay?

(I'm probably not gonna keel over. :) )

Actually, I should be in good shape. Had a great experience Tuesday. A friend of Peg's brought an entourage down to celebrate a personal gender mileston. We all hung out, saw the park, and ate pastries. This was someone I was SURE didn't like me, but we hit it off great and had a good conversation. Great stuff.

But I'm still... off. Frustrated with the narrative of my life, behind on work and Parallax, livid and exhausted about politics, bored with social media, just... off.

@mawr See, I knew this was coming. The barista at our local cafe announced "gender is a dead meme" last week while explaining their bathroom system to a customer. And as we all know, as New Orleans cafes go, so goes the world...
