My experience of mastodon: diving through a trapdoor into a poorly lit space and gradually discovering how big it is and how many other people are also sheltering in here, and how the one thing we have in common is human.

Given the intense focus on identity as divisive at the moment, this strangely anonymised space for meeting people according to their thoughts alone feels rare and hopeful.

I’m not good at drawing portraits large enough for con badges and as I started practicing, realized that to learn about placing font, I’d need to invent names. So only one of these is anyone’s actual character/fursona. #drawings
