Treating two groups of people equally when they don't start out as actual equals merely perpetuates the initial inequality.

True equality requires addressing and rectifying the initial inequality (at minimum to the satisfaction of the less-advantaged party).

I have perfectly serviceable vision and sometimes I zoom in webpages just because doing so makes it easier to read them.
