"Yeah, and the other is what I'll pour on your head."

How about this idea for a Mastodon client feature?
Ah, thought of another bonus to this – it would make it even more intuitive that a CW counts against total toot length!
How about this idea for a Mastodon client feature?
What if:
1) Type a toot as normal in the box large enough to comfortably edit things.
2) Press CW button.
3) First "paragraph" of toot – everything before the first explicit ␍ and/or ␊ or whatever you kids are using these days – is automatically moved into the CW box!
And as a bonus:
4) Press CW button to turn it off...
5) ...and whatever's in the CW box is automatically inserted into the main text box for convenient editing.
Thoughts?
More music!
I'm halfway through the album _Refactor_ by @fluffy@queer.party and I'm very much digging it – in large part because it's perfect for my short attention span. Every track has a very different flavour, and they're all good! Have a listen at http://music.sockpuppet.us/album/refactor and then just buy the thing, 'kay?
Favourite track thus far: "Sliced by a Mandolin"
We're so quick to frame crabs as cruel for pulling each other down when they try to escape buckets, yet we too rarely focus on the person who put them in the bucket in the first place.
The same goes for the idea of mantises eating the heads of their mates (apparently an artifact of lab conditions) and of the "alpha wolf" idea (wolves were forced into the company of unfamiliar wolves), among other facets of "common knowledge."
How many assumptions about human behavior follow this pattern?

Brilliant music—
Tonight's jam is a piano masterpiece by Shnabubula, though I'm only through the second of eight short (4~6 minute) pieces as I write this. It's got less of the complex stuff (read: tasty discordant messes) and more of the richly envisioned harmonious landscape angle. Admittedly, I can't help but imagine half of it in his more chippy sound palette, but it's also nice to get a brief break from the synths. (Makes it all the sweeter when I get back to them.)

Convention-goers, please take a moment to read — I wrote a blog post going public about a date-rape drugging incident that happened at BronyCon this year.

Habari gani, brothers and sisters? Day four of Kwanzaa is all about Ujamaa, or Cooperative Economics. I like to think of it as Black Empowered Socialism. :)
