I'd seen a couple movies but the first big draw to anime was the movie Akira, which didn't even reach the US until 1989, right before I turned 17.
By then I'd known a bit because there used to be ads for trans hormones in the back of Playboys and other adult magazines that my dad liked.
I knew by age 5 that I was or wanted to be a girl but it was really difficult to approach back then, and any trans instance people saw was always a TV joke.

I knew I was a girl before I discovered anime... but that was before anime was really widely accessible in the states.
My reply was mostly silliness... I've learned about emotions and strategy and sexuality and some rather nice thoughts about femininity
But I also learned stupid things, and I'm honestly happy that I did. I love anime

A lot of those shapes and patterns entered into TV shows, especially intros and fades between scenes. Influence the youth and you make an impact that grows.
Ah, the 80s...
Sex, std joke

To Lewd!
Not necessarily. She does a lot of stuff with bdsm and austin dungeon. She's got a following on FL, too.
She's up at... Forbidden Fruit? Anyway, she's very knowledgeable and very nice to talk to about this stuff, should you ever be up that way or encounter her.

I had a weird time with it on PS4 but now I think I'm ready to tackle it again
