Rant about racial police brutality 2

I'm told how violent revolutions are. How I don't REALLY want one, because they're messy and can do more harm than good and would be hard to go through. But if not revolution, then what? At what point is a boundary and it's worth resisting?

Human rights are being violated on a daily basis. Random black people selected for police to fuck over for little to nothing. ICE fucks over everyone they deem an "illegal", no matter the circumstances

Rant about racial police brutality

Saw, like, what? My 500th video showing a black man being treated brutally by police for doing literally nothing, not even resisting? And of course saw the 10,000th comment of how the black man shouldn't have "acted like a thug".

I can say over and over again that we need to dismantle the police and rebuild them, if at all -- but what's the point? That's as likely as alien space otters coming down tomorrow and rescuing me from this goddessforsaken planet.

Want to cuddle with a powerful woman in a Fury body on a Scum ship with gravity. Casual displays as strength as she keeps me there and from wiggling away (at least until I get serious about needing some space).

imagine how much more effective i would be as a social worker if judas priest followed me around to emphasize my wise and insightful points with sweep arpeggios and double kick drums

tired: the trope of powerful women turning into dragons in animated movies (maleficent, ludmilla, i could go on) is a natural fantasy-oriented extension of the classic femme fatale trope

wired: the trope of powerful women turning into dragons in movies is the movie directors hiding their kinks in plain sight

@starbreaker@octodon.social Intelligent, resourceful, had potential, but ultimately blamed everyone for his own issues and hurt a LOT of people, went to join the wrong team.

Look, I don't expect people seeing my ugly masculine face to immediately default to feminine titles, but I'd really rather not have everyone and their mother calling me "sir", please.

I think we need to be teaching some scepticism, and that everyone should verify before they willingly trust random posts on the internet, as basic technological survival skills

@CoronaCoreanici @emanate I learned it with my History of English course. Also the first few lines to Beowulf. It was fascinating to see the differences in poetry, pronunciation, everything.

It's important to state for the record that we don't decide who is a bird. If you say you are, you are. If tegus can be good scaly doggos and bats are flappy puppers, you can be a bird if that's what you decide. Rigid categorization is for undergrads.

@Phorm Haha, I'm just a dumb bof, but a lot of what you say is thought-provoking -- and I rather adore the genie aesthetic myself.

overwatch, activities that are functionally identical to flat-out gambling

@irisjaycomics That outfit would look *incredible* on you.

Did two tarot readings, one for the career path of a friend for free, one for money. Feeling very accomplished, and it seems to have helped them a lot.
