this is bleak, a member and co-founder of a bay area photography worker co-op.
i capture light to show the world soulful places, people, ideas, moods, hopes, thoughts, and feelings.
silence is my canvas in making music, voices, sound effects, and audiobooks
important thoughts and observations come out of me sometimes, like today
i give all these things away freely, asking only for contributions from the most capable

But you can copypaste the URL into your local Mastodon server's "Search" field, then it allows you to interact!

❕ Hey, new folks, noiob here, I am (currently the only) mod here on awoo (we're pretty smol). There's been concern about influx due to the #mastodown stuff. I'd like to remind you that we are not "yet another instance" but an experiment to provide a safer space than the mastoverse currently is.
That includes us having a stricter federation policy: You will only see posts from whitelisted instances here (currently only mastodon.social iirc).
one mistake i keep making: i click on a 'sensitive content' image, realize it really is too sensitive to show at the office, so in order to undo it, i reflexively click it again, which actually blows it up to full size 🤣
maybe i should make a habit of clicking the 'eye' icon to reveal rather than the image itself, heh
