@neonNeptunian here be gerblins
@Oneironott (TAZ is really good i've gotten to like episode 58 and it still keeps getting betterrrr)
@neonNeptunian i just finished the train mystery haha. It’s so, so good
@starkatt @neonNeptunian @Oneironott Hah, I'm about there right now too actually!
@emanate @Oneironott @neonNeptunian @starkatt Is this a thing I should be watching, then? (After I finally remember to watch the most recent few Steven Universe eps?)
@ElectricKeet @neonNeptunian @Oneironott @emanate It's a podcast!
http://www.maximumfun.org/shows/adventure-zone?page=8 is the start of the show page.
You might also consider starting with episode 1.5 though, which is a more concise edit of the pilot. I haven't actually listened to it. https://adventurezone.libsyn.com/ep-15-here-there-be-gerblins-chapter-one-super-cut
Give it until episode 8 (wherein Magnus does horrible things to an automaton) to decide whether you like it or not. I know that's a long lead time, but the first arc is pretty rough yet still necessary.
@starkatt @emanate @Oneironott @neonNeptunian Will do, thanks!
@emanate @neonNeptunian @starkatt I'm in the next sort of story now n.n about halfway through.
@emanate @Oneironott @neonNeptunian I genuinely astounded that the show became what it did, given how it started.
I can pinpoint the exact moment I realized the show would be something more than a bunch of silly D&D gags: when Killian say "We need to stop him, before he destroys The Entire World."
