@ElectricKeet A way to avoid that is just find the setting that whenever you open Firefox, it re-opens everything you had open when it closed last.
I used to do that 'restore session' dance with Chrome until I did that option instead.
The caveat is that it then is loaded every tab so startup takes some time.

Symbols and Magic; identities; vore; kink

@Ulfra_Wolfe@witches.town I can understand this, even if it isn't my specific kink. :-}

But I do have to get to sleep now, so like... won't be immediately responding. :-}

Symbols and Magic; identities; vore; kink

@Ulfra_Wolfe@witches.town

No, no, you're fine. Powerful and deep stuff, and fascinating. :-}

Symbols and Magic; identities

@Ulfra_Wolfe@witches.town Mmm. That's an understandable sentiment, yeah.

Symbols and Magic; Phil Foglio; Plushies

@Ulfra_Wolfe@witches.town
Hey, I'm a phoenix. (Well, one of me is, but it's a strong one.)
I understand the process of destroying something so it can be rebuilt. I do it to /myself/. :-}

That's really neat! I still have a /lot/ of related things from my childhood that I've refused to get rid of. For various reasons.

Symbols and Magic; Phil Foglio; Plushies

@Ulfra_Wolfe@witches.town Mmm. It makes sense that can happen. :-}

I... someday I may have to transplant Diablo, my rottweiler puppy plush, into a new pelt. I've slept with him every night on my left arm, for... maybe a decade? May eventually wear down or need to be repaired. :-}

Symbols and Magic; Phil Foglio; Plushies

@Ulfra_Wolfe@witches.town I've done this myself, to a few plushies. Not all of them, but...
Of a particular power to me is that I've managed to recover the plushies I had that were my first. They are as old as I am. They've aged with me. :-}

There's also a snow leopard plush that guards my pillow and my dreams at night. I knew her name very quickly after I got her out of the box. I give her some petting attention every night before sleep. :-}

@LexYeen Not ride so much as... was imagining one mounted there. But firing it would be weird, especially on a taur. o.o

@LexYeen
What's wrong with /me/, that my brain somehow skimmed this and read 'grenade-launcher-between-the-legs'. 0.o

@ElectricKeet Does it actually have proper graphical controls now? Last time I tried playing it on my desktop I was getting framerate issues so bad I couldn't play, even on 'low'--because I couldn't find anywhere to turn specific parts of the graphics down.

dumb shadowrun thoughts

@LexYeen *looks it up*
Yikes. To enemy groups /and/ your own. Good way to lose a lot of runner friends too. :-P

@Jacel @mawr If you look for The String Quartet Tribute to Radiohead, by the Vitamin Quartet, that's mostly the same folks.
Group I saw was called the Section Quartet.

@LexYeen Stay away from synthwave then, or at least some artists, who try to emulate the crime+drug-ridden movies of the 80s a little roo closely. :-/

@Jacel @mawr I love all kinds of covers of songs and covers of early Radiohead stuff is the beat illustration of their amazing craft of melody. :-)@
Will have to check this out!

Years ago, I was at a live string quartet concert covering the entire OK Computer album start to finish. It was breathtaking. Even the Fitter Happier bit.

@Jacel
"I had the male starter deck but I've discovered better cards since then and customized the hell out of it. I guess it looks like some of the top enby decks, but it's still mine." :-P
