I wrote Pern fanfic but never showed anyone when I was much younger. Had me being a Harper /and/ dragonrider, because of course.
I still have the name of my dragon from that, and it's become a secret thing. :-)
@DialMforMara I've read that and the second book, and the second book gave me lots of feelings. In many ways I identify strongly with Jack.
I suppose my door would lead to something not chaotic, but not perfectly ordered, and slightly more logic than nonsense. Maybe not the Moors, but something with "mad science".
