self-care, THANK YOU FOR USING CONTENT WARNINGS (positive)
personal small victory: saw a [show more] tag with the explanation "politics (-)" and I ~didn't click to show more~ because I'm feeling pretty okay right now and know that reading about bad political stuff would upset me.
*does "minor self-care win" dance*
@Kistaro ~accurate~
@KawaSeadrake he is SO ENTHUSIASTIC about EVERYTHING. full-tilt headbutts! purring that fills the room! and of course NAAAAR. <3
@Jacel that is indeed what a Nar says. XD
and I'm always too self-conscious to unstar it, like, I don't *not* like your toot... if I remove the star will they get sad??
STARS ARE HARD OKAY
sometimes I go to star a toot but when I'm about to click it it's bumped down by a new toot on the feed so I accidentally star a completely different toot the instant after it was posted and have to kind of wonder what that person is thinking
them: random toot about garden implements or something
me: INSTANT LIKE
them: .....?????
@troubleMoney I'm definitely a social-justice-ranger. pathfinder and sniper who specializes in combat via cute animals. ;)
@Leucrotta on the other hand, most artists I've known tend to hit a point of either finding a personal style they like and going with it, or utterly abandoning all interest in how they look in favor of focusing on their art-work, which tends to result in people who look like artists anyway, so. XD
@Leucrotta to be totally honest, in my experience the people who look the most like artists are people who put most of their energy into *looking like artists*, rather than into *doing actual art*. they can be a lot of fun at parties or great conversationalists (or incredible downers and a pain in the ass to hang out with, depending on their idea of what an artist should behave like), but when you ask what they've done or what they're working on it's all vague ideas. :P
@frameacloud ooh... I've added that to my wishlist and will pick it up when I can. :D
I think like 45% of you reading this need this story about the Woolwich Foot Tunnel time anomaly.
