anyway: back to Diablo! not because I really care about playing Diablo but because I'm having difficulty getting into anything else just at the moment, and Diablo is easy to pick up and put down again.

watched "Bright" with Spouse last night, then had a dream set in that universe, in which Elves were Assholes. XD
in the dream, there was--some kind of magical zeppelin or airship or something that elves were using to hunt "sky whales," which were peaceful, friendly creatures, because (see above), and the main/perspective character of the scene was an elf who was scanning the horizon while sipping a mimosa and thinking snide thoughts about her sister's boyfriend.

@Soreth I still have the headcanon that a friend of mine mentioned after The Force Awakens that Kylo is FTM. I have another friend who writes fanfic in which Hux is FTM. either way... it makes the movies so much... more, for me. :]

okay, after a bit of research it looks like wall clamps are going to be my best bet for hanging the heirloom quilt my grandma made, since the quilt doesn't have a hanging sleeve and I don't want to mess with trying to sew one on. so: will need to go to hardware store for that and a couple of ceiling hooks for hanging up other things.
then... where to hang the quilt? prrrrooooobably in the hallway.... *gets out measuring tape*
next year resolutions
1. Finish The Damn Story. just... do another write-through, maybe two, stick a nail in it and call it Good Enough. and then POST IT. *try* not to start any new ambitious writing projects until it's done, please?
2. make one Xmas ornament a month, so there's 12 more to hang on the tree next Xmas!
3. do not make any Next Year resolutions.
