today's to-do list (mild violence)
@hummingrain or at least blink irritatedly at it? XD
I dunno about all of Mastodon living in Seattle, but there sure is a whole lot of overlap on the Venn diagram. now I kinda want to do a survey or something... buuuuuut not enough to actually, y'know, *do* it. :P
@Leucrotta WELP I'm earwormed
today's to-do list (mild violence)
@hummingrain true! it's a pity we don't have any up here where I live... come to think of it, Seattle is pretty wild-reptile-poor in general, and I do kind of miss occasional snake/lizard sightings...
@Jssra sooooo much empathy. I don't usually get fevers, but I had one for like three days back there at the end of last week, and it was... uuuuggggghhhhhh. I'm still recovering, doing a *lot* better, and hoping that your recovery process will be swift and even and generally good. *hugthoughts*
okay, I made a new DW for long-form writing things! it is here: https://dracosaur.dreamwidth.org/ there is a post! it isn't terribly important! feel free to rubberneck and/or frolic!

@hummingrain and possibly have lots of alligator friends...
today's to-do list (mild violence)
@hummingrain very true! Spouse and I have been watching "Forensic Files," which is generally pretty bad but also kind of amusing, and if nothing else it hammers home just how damn difficult it really is to hide/dispose of bodies...
oh hey the sparrow! I like watching the sparrow, it moves so differently from the juncos and chickadees, with different calls and behaviors, and it's not a very frequent visitor. same with the spotted towhee, always a treat.
I keep thinking "I had an interesting dream, I should post it," and then trying to remember what the dream actually *was* and there's nothing there. already lost it. WELP
this is why you should write your dreams down *as soon as* you wake up, kids, even if it's just a few scraps. it's the best way to remember them, and the more you remember and write down, the more you *will* be able to recall as you get into the habit. it works, and surprisingly quickly!
@Elizafox I just laughed so hard at this omg
island pics
@Soreth those are some unexpectedly and seriously impressive trees!! wooowwww. nice! that's... to be honest, that's one of the few things I've seen that's made me want to go visit there. XD
