@thefishcrow@cybre.space I am one-quarter Mexican, as in my grandmother on my father's side came to the US from Mexico, and lived with my grandfather in New Mexico for the rest of her life. I've *never* been IDed as latinx, even with my "natural" hair color (dark brown) and the darkest tan I can get. it kind of messes with me sometimes. it doesn't help that it's my father's side of the family, and I am thoroughly Estranged from him.

in D&D they can sometimes "roll over" and become "temporary hit points"--raising your HP total from 45 to 50, until you get hit for 7 points of damage, then your HP total is back to 45 but you're only down 2 points instead of 7. temporary HP usually wear off if you sleep or rest, or at the end of the spell duration.

housing needed, PDX
am still trying to find a place to stay while my insurance company fixes their paperwork error and (finally) gets me my December and January disability payments.
I live in the general PDX area...anyone know of anyone in their area looking for a quiet, pet friendly flatmate or renter?
I can pay in baked goods and tech support until insurance is fixed, but otherwise I am -$63 so I have no way of compensating.
