So while you were busy doing whatever you were doing for the Solstice, a small crew of "fuel rats" was throwing together a rescue mission for a botched attempt to set a new record for the furthest distance traveled from Sol.
@anthracite I'm reading this now. I've never played, but I bought and read "Empires of Eve"--I can't say I'm fascinated with this stuff, but I'm at least very interested. not enough to actually *play* Spreadsheets In Space, though. ;)
@starkatt yeah, I think the shark-jump is imminent. have you seen the entire season? I don't want to give spoilers if you haven't, but I have Opinions... it's really disappointing, I've loved the series so far, but I guess every series has a breaking point (unless they can come up with a way around it eg: Doctor Who)

took out litter bag and some recycling. the trash hasn't been picked up in... a while, and the dumpsters are both piled high. on the other claw, I had to crack an ice seal to open the lid to the recycling dumpster. :P
have volunteering scheduled for Wed and Fri mornings. looking at the weather forecast... I may have to Lyft in. yay scary black ice and darkness conditions on that last stretch of road. >____<
napped! I felt bad about it until I reminded myself that I spent most of yesterday in severe pain, and I kinda need a day to recover from that. :P now Spouse and I are foraging up dinner, and I'm looking at the remainder of today's to-do list and going uuugggghhhhh... (cleaning the catbox, yey)
