re:lrt: I gotta admit a fursona named "Captain Candy Weasel" would be pretty awesome

It's a nootropic from the dark web called Basketball Pancakes. Chick was givin' a keynote speech about usin' machine learning to break down gender stereotypes, suddenly she's explainin' a detailed diagram of her "Fursona" - "Captain Candy Weasel".

@kara@occult.camp @kel@dragon.style if you go to Etsy and put in "heart chime pendant" you get some results close to what I was thinking, from cheap to REALLY NO WHAT. but that gives you an idea of what I'm thinking. they often sell them at jewelry making stores too; there's a couple of places I can think of that might have them, if you'd rather go look in person, though they're more in the north end of Seattle (U district, Northgateish, and Ballardish)

@kara@occult.camp @kel@dragon.style something with a bell/chime, perhaps? there's--hmm, lemme do some research here...

superbowl stuff, abuse reference, slur

@kara@occult.camp @Leucrotta ... damn, that's kinda funny but also a really good point. o____o

@emanate @Ulfra_Wolfe@witches.town gaw, that would make a *fantastic* tattoo!

it's ok to be nominated the fairy in this game what the heck how is this kobold so cute look at it!!!!!!!!!

and now Pooka is caroling at Nar, just sitting in the hallway making "mrraaaa... mrrrrawer... mrrrrr" sounds, while Nar continues to gallop around the house. oh cats. XD

the cats have been fed, and Nar is now trilling and galloping around the apartment, with Pooka walking along behind him like "wtf dude?"

dreamstuff

dreamed about riding buses, trying to find gluten-free tea (??? wtfever I guess it's an anxiety thing), trying to keep the uncountable number of cats inside, and then being followed at night by a couple of knife-wielding thugs (white) until I ducked into a dark alley and they hurried around the corner and right into a *really big* set of sharp pointy teeth. ^____^ take *that*, nightmare scenario.

pol thinking thats probably v obvious

@turbodragon@computerfairi.es "Always Coming Home" (same author) also has a semi-utopian anarchic society, but it's pretty specific and "primitive," plus the book is kind of difficult to get through, so it's not necessarily a good way to introduce the idea...

pol thinking thats probably v obvious

@turbodragon@computerfairi.es recommend "The Dispossessed" by Ursula LeGuin. I'm reading it now, and it describes a working anarchist society, in a very matter-of-fact way that makes it seems not only believable, but *easier* than the alternatives. I'm only halfway through it, though, so it might take a Sudden Twist but given ULG's beliefs I really doubt it. XD

@noelle I'd say getting the lockboxes free but having to pay for keys, *especially* if the lockboxes just stack up in your inventory, *double especially* if you have a *limited* amount of inventory and can't sell/throw away the damn boxes. so not only is it locking away loot you might want, meanwhile it's holding your inventory space hostage!

ooooh had fun at tabletop rp tonight, am now very very sleepy, so quick hi and goodnight. <3 to all, dream well!

Awesome Chrome extension: when you view the listing for a book on Amazon or whatever, this lets you know if it's available from the local library.
