social skills for ppl who like to debate things:
1. Ensure the ppl yr debating actually care to discuss this with you, and actively ensure they still want to be engaging with you.
2. Actively communicate non-hostility and friendliness. Use phrases like "good point" "correct me if i'm wrong" "i don't understand" and "what do you think?"
3. Outright avoid joining discussions fundamentally about other people's lives and not yours. You will never be welcome in them.
@CoronaCoreanici The most actual likely outcome is that one of the clones will get a burr up her tail to prove she's the "real one," and we all know how that ends.
@CoronaCoreanici I would like to think that we'd negotiate who is running which tulpa on any given day, democratically decide on courses of action, and set up the closest thing we could to a technologically-mitigated hivemind to permit us to rotate through the work, writing, sex, drugs, social, and magic possible, as well as doing A/B testing on improvements to physical health.
Real Foodcrime
@emanate I put one in my muzzle. They taste exactly like how you'd imagine a Reese's-and-Smucker's sandwich on sweet bread -- not sweetbreads -- would taste.
I did not swallow. But I did sample it.

@green Its colored that way as a warning.
@CoronaCoreanici glitched: getting horny for getting horny.
Hot Take on Amazon (CW: ground meat)
@indi Like, you can find a Hello Kitty branded vibrator by searching for it, but they work pretty hard to stop literature containing a same-sex romance from showing up in general search, and anything tagged as gay lit doesn't show up in their sales rankings. I get why, but I think I'm allowed to be grumpy about that, even if I'm never going to be on the ranked lists.
Hot Take on Amazon (CW: ground meat)
@indi I remember when they scrubbed a couple of keywords from the "book title" field to try to make a complaint about Amazon selling bigfoot porn go away. They've got a really schizoid relationship with sex and LGBTQ media content in general, and I worry about the damage a privately-owned supply chain is doing in general to genuinely independent operators. But that's not an Amazon problem; it's a capitalism problem.
Hot Take on Amazon (CW: ground meat)
@indi So... my experience with them as an independent bookseller on Amazon is that they have been kind of petty or gross on a couple of things that are important to me, but I'll fully grant you that they're not this level of tacky.
@starkatt ... I am in camp two, and I don't know what that says about me.
@starkatt These days, Star Control II. The music is great, there's a ton of tropes, and there's a pretty good story line about how the bad guys are the only survivors of the last Galactic Empire and the weaklings of the bunch who're acting out a collective trauma experience that you have to undo by breaking their tools rather than declaring them unpeople.
It's also completely rife with Planet of Hats syndrome and some pretty sexist stereotypes.

You know you're in the bad future when the #Brand that just bought the local bourgeoisie grocer is displaying its new ownership with the shaped eviscerated and ground remains of a once living creature.
