My first computer was a Mac SE/30 which was rad AF for a first computer. I could talk for hours about how that computer practically saved my life and is responsible for my career today

All the old macs had Quantum drives and they all had this beautiful and distinct init sequence ♥️

Hard drive spin-up and read/write (and if they're _really_ old, initialization and calibration), floppy drives checking for disks during the boot sequence, CD drives spinning up discs...
