I really enjoyed @literorrery and @ElectricKeet's theory that Big Trouble in Little China is the story of a Shadowrun campaign that's been going on for YEARS, and the DM's college roomie or something was in town and really wanted to join them for a game... but didn't grok the setting. And so, Jack Burton was born and forced to fit somehow, even though he really shouldn't have.

@literorrery @ElectricKeet TBH, if I weren't so enamored and familiar with OS X as a user interface at this point, I almost definitely would have made the switch to Linux by now.

Windows started applying all the worst lessons the Apple camp had to offer, and they don't seem too interested in changing course. :(

@ElectricKeet I gave up on finding a decent mail client on Windows. Honestly I think that was one of the main reasons I embraced OS X so much. The stock mail app is the best I've ever used

I just wrote the most scathing email I think I've ever written. It was to a representative for a consulting group we're in talks with.

I told them what our problem was and how I hoped they could solve it. He recommended a meeting, so I convinced the stakeholders to gather together and we had the meeting.

The meeting was 15 minutes long and started with the guy asking two questions I'd answered in my initial email.

…I made sure he knew how we felt about him after that meeting.
