@Kyresti @Felthry I like that they have a built-in fastener for like, bikes and stuff, too

@Kyresti @Felthry yeah I bet there's lots of contractors who are all over those

@Felthry oh don't get me wrong our mobile infrastructure sucks ass and we pay way too much on internet for an aging network that the one corporation that owns it doesn't want to modernize

@Felthry I mean over here

in other news, I didn't know the CDMA/GSM divide was still relevant past 3G

@Felthry I think even if you get a subsidized phone it'll work with other SIM cards

@Felthry I'm not sure, prepaid plans are pretty popular around here so the normal way to buy a phone is to just buy it and then just put your existing SIM into it. I pay like 7€/mo for 3GB LTE and unlimited calling/texting

@Felthry oh

simlock is when you can only use a phone with a certain provider

@Felthry yeah they're pretty cool

I wouldn't wanna carry a phone that weighs about as much as all phones I ever owned combined but I'm sure there's people who like them

@Felthry I mean, they put their branding on cell phones

I can't get the Fortnite Chug Jug song out of my head

@chosafine idk maybe I just felt like the Wii mini was a bad deal because everyone I knew already had a Wii back then

@chosafine and like, I guess it wasn't apparent back then but Mario Kart on a Wii without network means you're missing out

@chosafine yeah but at that point you could get an OG Wii with network and gamecube compatibility for less than that

@chosafine maybe the Wii Mini is the actual outlier here

@chosafine I just think it makes way more sense than the Wii Mini, which has a nice design and which I wouldn't pay money for

@chosafine the 2DS XL was like 100€ new with a copy of Mario Kart 7, it's a good deal
