re: RE8, house Benviento
still scary though, but I think I'm less scared of things and more of the possibility of things

re: thoughts on New Pokémon Snap (no spoilers)
downsides: the scoring system isn't great, so sometimes worse photos score higher… there's plenty of ways to have fun with your favorite shot beside the Photodex though. The characters are pretty boring… I mean, they're just cardboard cutouts for the story, but I would've liked something, maybe banter during the levels?
I also wish the requests feature didn't suck. The requests themselves are a great way to get hints about good photo opportunities but you might have already photographed what's asked, it's hard to keep track which requests are active for which track and you can never be sure if you actually got the shot until you give it to the Professor…
thoughts on New Pokémon Snap (no spoilers)
it's honestly wild how closely this game ties itself to the original, both in story, kinda retroactively putting an explanation to the original's story, and in gameplay.
At the same time, you can really tell that both consoles and game development have come a long way. Also the game mechanics kinda relate to the conclusion of the story!
I loved every second of this game, what a love letter to the N64 classic and what a powerhouse in graphics, animation and sound! They really made the world and the Pokémon in it come alive
