That being said if you like cheesy action movies Tomb Raider (2001) is actually an entertaining watch. Angelina Jolie is a perfect fit for old Lara who doesn't take shit from no one and just constantly kicks ass.
I also rewatched Tomb Raider (the old one with Angelina Jolie) today and I found out three things:
1. The plot is strangely similar to the one of the new movie with the same name, except it ends with Lara saving someone instead of losing someone
2. Angelina Jolie is extremely good in this role and she deserved a better movie
3. IGN rated this movie 0/10 and that's hilarious and also puts the 5/10 "not enough tombs" of the new one into perspective 😄
