Allow people to promote their own work without shame. As always, attack the mechanisms and hierophants of capitalism, not the street-level people merely trying to exist under capitalism.

* (by which I mean, if you're selling something with a spider on it, CW with "spider, self-promotion". But don't just CW self-promotion by itself if there isn't another reason to CW the toot.)

I'd advise suspending federation with albin.social

They clearly say that they'll be doing data mining on accounts on their instance, wouldn't be out of the way for them to data mine anything they come across from the fediverse as well
