Taking another breath I took a little time to soak in my surroundings.

I noticed that wherever I was, it was definitely surrounded by mountains in the range. Or edge of my little world.

Gleaming in moonlight, it was never dark or freezing cold with all those brilliant stars illuminating every little sparkle cascading from the snowy fields to the water and elder wood pines surrounding me.

It.. was a very nice little hub world I could see losing myself into for all eternity.

when I wanted to take a better look, I dipped my head in the water, expecting a very chilling freezing temperature. And it was just, pleasantly warm, in a sense feeling almost as if you were just waking Under the covers on a very cold morning.

Underneath the water there were more of these little balls and pixels of light. Slowly drifting from side to side and all around within the lake.

I strongly remember taking a photo of this with my phone, the lake, both under and over as well.

not a very large or small one, enough to house a small island on its far end near the other shore, but not too far away that it couldn’t be easily reached.

Taking a few steps back to gaze at what little cottage I came out of and it had some 4-5 floors on her.
But my attention kept being brought back to the lake, there was something about it shimmering with shades of crystal clear blues, purples, pinks and greens.

There were a bunch of particles surrounding near the edges of the lake.

Wanting to make sure, I turn myself around to grab my phone from the bed.
Luckily enough it still turned on despite it wasn’t plugged to anything for a charge.

Walking towards the outside, quietly shutting the door behind me, all the while taking a single breath to let go. If I were to say anything at a second glance, everything was smaller? No, it was the right size and space for me.

To my left we’re a couple of snowboards, some smaller some longer. To the right there was a lake.

I had a beautiful dream today
Waking up in a small bedroom with two doors, one made of glass the other of a dark wood.
The lights were completely off, or missing for that matter.
Yet right beside me instead of having a solid walk it was just a few panels of glass with draping black curtains made from the softest of silks.
Slowly I slid and pushed one aside, to my surprise and eerie calm, snow, white with light blue crescent on each curve and hill. pure with a very little slow fall of it.

@Thaminga yeah exactly what I’m getting at with my late night thonking, I’m just putting it in the aspect of why -some- might choose to stay that way, but not all of its race entirely. You’ll always have that small percentage of -purists- out there.

@Thaminga simply put, some people would prefer their factory bone stock car as it was meant to be. They’d rather keep to what’s original or damn well close to it.

Where as you’ll also have those who would want to modify the same car for their own needs, modernizing it to today’s standards.
Drifting, rally, sport, drag or hell just for looks with the ultimate “street” car that car culture in Japan exhibits. even full on electric.

Anywho that’s my two cents, all choices are good.
