Currently we've only paid @kyra for her art, and we commission her at least once a month on top of that!
She's very busy, but her next piece will be a drawing of the story that won the competition to name @awoofriend.
@noiob it's a slightly different effect, and doesn't come as thin. It can also only make one color, unlike hooking fiber optic line to an rgb led :)

How hard would it be to make a fursuit with luminous fiber optic strands woven though the fur? :D

@typhlosion tonight I am a little dissociatey but basically okay and very furry.
(sadly, the artist who makes the masks I really covet didn't answer an email. I'm trying to figure out what the next best thing is.)
So, prompted by another thread:
I don't really want a fursuit, and especially not a fursuit head. What I want a face covering that explicitly reads as a mask.
It's a weird reverse thing? To me personally, a fursuit head that tries to be as realistic as possible would still feel like costume. A mask, however, acknowledges my embodied human form while being a reflection of a deeper underling animality.
