i like how low commitment things are here though! especially if you're just talking to someone on the local timeline
i find because of that, i actually say a lot more here than i do on the tweeters
i only started recording the data because the values embedded on google don't show up anywhere on the source page, so I kinda gotta keep track of it myself
i love how I can basically just hack something like this out in tasker when i need to, though! (maybe i should use it more often?)
because of the local miasma, I made a thing to track it, and send me warnings when i'm out of the house and it gets worse than 100

another thing you can do if there is even a *little* bit of responsiveness from your desktop is type "pkill -9 ghc" into the thing that pops up when you hit Alt + F2 on most desktops

@chao ahh! in cases like that, you might still be able to Alt + Sys Req + R to get your desktop to let go of your keyboard
and then mashing Ctrl + Alt + Shift + F1 might get you to a virtual terminal where you can log in and type "pkill ghc"
afterwards, you can Alt + F7 to get back to your desktop

i guess mashing ctrl+c or the ctrl+z "kill -9 %1" combos didn't work?
if this becomes A Thing, maybe you can try to limit the resources for it? like maybe running "ulimit -Sv 500000" before haskell to limit the stack to 500MB might get you past it growing out of control?
