WA Pol +

@KawaSeadrake @Felthry yea it means big internet companies won't be able to shit on municipal isp efforts as much. It's a BFD

@mawr i spent all my feats training just for this moment

@puppy@chitter.xyz oh!!!!!!! i think i've seen this!!!!!! it's really funny!!!

honk em if got em

*squeezes dual wielded bike horns*

@cat considering you can just shove whatever text in it like a post, it's just as abusable imo

i don't remember what the limitation is on why we can't do post edits though

anti-homelessness

@cat this whole thing reminds me of how aggressively cities will fight people who give out food for not having licenses

it's like, excuse me - you're gonna fine people for *giving away* food for not being a legitimate distributor of food???? fuck you, cities

@cat hmm that gives me an idea

what if post edits are not "edit post and propagate the changes" but simply "delete the post and apply the changes in a new post" and just limit edits to like, 1 time

anti-homelessness

It’s always really disheartening to see tacitly anti-homeless policies, like the daily cap on bottle return deposits. When someone’s bringing in 25 bottles it’s probably their only viable means of income, and it’s value that they’ve *certainly* worked for.

The likelihood that those 25 bottles are bottles discarded by people for whom the dollar a bottle means *absolutely* nothing should not disqualify someone from *fucking feeding themselves*
