@witchfynder_finder before i stopped pirating (mostly) altogether (unless it's related to accessibility or the creators aren't gonna see $ otherwise) i used to pirate to try stuff out all the time

it all started with winamp, really

"piracy doesn't hurt sales"

i'm seriously unsurprised by this, most people i knew who were pirates also bought a lot of media

@nolan it'd be pretty cool to implement a way to communicate with them too! i feel like there could be something to be said for building out a connection since both are different concepts of decentralization

@nolan that's the only viable solution i can think of in terms of abstracting out moderation, anyway

@nolan yeah this was kind of my reaction

i imagine they're going to have to have block lists that people subscribe to in the future so moderation can basically focus around the concept of making sharing that around easier - not everyone wants to have to moderate their space or set their own boundaries, or even be capable of doing anything but stepping away when a problem happens

@nolan it's real interesting how the underlying design of the network causes a radically different effect of a common tool actually

@Felthry @vahnj @chr@cybre.space @benhamill@witches.town normally/gently the kobolds

@grime_witch@witches.town ah yes ,

@benhamill@witches.town @chr@cybre.space @vahnj kobold that are normal reminder/gentle

@literorrery Honestly both of those combos are really cool, aesthetically and personality wise :D
