He just sounded so... exhausted when he answered the phone. I told him as much and warned him he was about to get more of the same— about Mitchie's cynical treatment of 9/11 responders, of course— but it wasn't his fault.

I call a lot of these Congresscritters, and I humbly suggest you should too. And I've NEVER heard one of their operators who sounded so close to quitting out of despair. Let's see what we can do to help the poor guy along, shall we? ^__^
