The good news is that as far as I know, Mr. Watterson remains pure and unsullied!

The bad news is that he did so by switching over to landscape painting and becoming notoriously avoidant of any and all publicity.

Sadly, it would take miraclse of theological proportions to get him to do anything Calvin and Hobbes related again. He's cartooned for the public roughly 3–5 times in the 24 years since his strip ended.
